All products from Nordic Sorting are developed by Lolle & Nielsen Inventions in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen, Technical and Environmental Administration.

The Bag Dispenser, Bio Bin, and Holder – as a complete system – were created with the vision of increasing the amount of collected food waste.

A user study conducted by the City of Copenhagen highlighted the importance of:

• Easy access to bio bags

• A sturdy bio bin that doesn’t tip over or tear the bags

• Proper placement of the bio bin next to the general waste to increase the likelihood of food waste being sorted out

The Bag Dispenser ensures that residents always have access to new bio bags. The Holder creates a natural place for the Bio Bin. Together, these three products provide an effective solution to improve and implement food waste sorting.
